This past Sunday was Mother's Day here in England. All the restaurant had signs up urging you to "book now for Mothering Sunday." We didn't go that route for obvious reasons: a 6, 4 and 1 year old . Instead Christopher cooked me a nice breakfast and then we piled in the car and drove to Winchester. We made a side trip to Chawton where the Jane Austen House Museum is located. This was Jane Austen's final home where she finished and published her most famous novels:
Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice.
