The Nannies and Grand Cayman

In between strep throat round 4 and the infected toe/stomach virus.  Christopher and I went to Grand Cayman.  Mom and Aunt Judy flew over to keep the children.  We can't thank them enough.  We had a fabulous time while they nannied in England.  We think they could make serious money doing it full time.
This is Harry's favorite outfit.  It is from Target.  He wore it everyday we were gone.  Mom washed it every night.  She also strolled him to pre-school in a stroller each morning.  He likes to remind me of this occasionally.  I told him there was no chance.

And here we are in Grand Cayman.
Off to have breakfast at Tiffany's, literally.

This was waiting for us after a long afternoon at the beach.
The first of 2 sunset cruises.
Not a bad work environment.
The view from our balcony.
Waiting for the second sunset cruise.

The nannies in the Cotswolds on Mother's Day.

Christopher planned our Mother's Day outing to the Cotswolds.  We visited a trout farm in Cirencester.  I am counting this as part of Father's Day.

Lunch at the Catherine Wheel.

It was a busy lunch.

Castle Comb.

Thank you, Mom and Judy.  The children miss you and so do I!

A  baby and his Bebe.

Paula and Kriya

Basically since January Kate and Harry have been taking turns being sick or "poorly" as it's called here.  Kate had 3 bouts of strep throat before the doctors here would even test for it and not before it turned into Scarlet Fever.  As soon as she was finally diagnosed Harry caught it and it took 2 rounds of antibiotics to cure him.  A week later he hurt his toe and it got infected so he took another round of antibiotics, Kate caught the stomach virus and then last week Harry had a fever for five days.  The hits just keep on comin', No more germs, please.

After months of sick Kate and a stressful week of convincing the local surgery that Kate and Harry both had strep throat (when the test took FOUR days to show it was positive I felt vindicated) Paula and Kriya arrived and rescued me from my depression.

We went to our favorite pub in Eversley.

Friday we headed into London for 2 nights.  Christopher held down the fort at  home.  We are checking in at the Soho Hotel in London

Tower of London

Kriya made a friend.

We had sunshine on Friday but it rained the rest of the weekend.

Looking for the Lanesborough Hotel.

Tea time at the Lanesborough.

Getting ready for our night out.

The robes were really soft.

We still need to discuss this.

Cheers!

It rained and rained and we missed the tour of Westminster Abbey by 3 minutes.

Buckingham Palace

on the Tube
I miss Mexican food so we found a Mexican restaurant in Nottinghill.

At The Cinnamon Club for some fine Indian dining.

And then back to our favorite nightclub that closes at 12.

Nothing like a Bap with bacon and egg to start the day (at 12)
Sunday it was time to go home :(

Thank you, girls, for coming all this way!  It went by way too fast.
