Joseph

As we prepared for our move across the pond a recurring topic that family and friends would bring up was how much the children would change in the two years we would be away.  It's Joseph that will change the most, though.  I am a little sad that our family in GA and VA can't see him during these precious months as he grows little by little each day and doing something new practically every week.  It doesn't seem like much when you spend everyday with him or even see him each week, but after just a couple of months it's like he is a different baby. He is a very sweet boy and laughs a lot. He loves his brother and sister who are both so loving to him.  They  make him cackle which is one of the best sounds in the world.  Occasionally they also make him cry but I won't focus on that now.  In the last 5 months he has seen most of the world from the comfort of his 2 strollers and briefly from the old fashioned pram we borrowed.  He is always happy to go along for the ride and I think he prefers the outdoors, just riding along with one foot hanging out the side. He has just cut 2 teeth which will help him in his unending quest to become satisfied at meal time.  He still does not want to crawl but he will  soon enough I'm afraid.  I get up with him once a night at least, but it's not too bad since he goes back to sleep as soon as I feed him.  All in all I have to say Joseph is a pretty happy baby.

So of this big adventure, as Christoper and I call it,  Kate will remember it, Harry will likely remember most of it, and little Joseph will have no idea we ever lived in England.  He will have to rely on the photos and the fond memories we will recall later.
